Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Luxembourg Air Rescue as a Storekeeper. Based in the Maintenance department you will have the following responsibilities.
o Select part and service suppliers based on operational needs (cost effectivity or TAT)
o Order parts and services as required (based on cost effectivity or TAT)
o Evaluate suppliers based on KPI’s (on time delivery, warranty cases) and /or supplier evaluations
o Handling of warranty issues and negotiation of warranty claims
o Managing the stock of spare parts, consumables and tools
o Handling of stock minima’s and inventory control
o Prepare and provide spare parts, tools and material to the maintenance department
o Inspecting delivered components and goods, in regard to the related documents, packing and condition
o Being responsible for all shipments of components (exchange, repair, overhaul, AOG parts support)
o Ensuring regular reporting to the Maintenance Manager
o Participate in audits (EASA, ISO)
o Crosscheck of purchase orders versus invoices

Role Requirements

  • Ideally, you have at least 5 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment;
  • Knowledge of logistics & supply chain and procurement is required
  • Capacity to understand technical matters
  • Knowledge of EASA & dangerous goods regulation is an asset
