Job Description

AeroProfessional is delighted to be recruiting for a Crew Establishment, Planning and Scheduling Manager for BA's new LGW Subsidiary Airline.
Do you have an Airline Crew Planning and Scheduling background? A rare opportunity is now available to play a part in the establishment, planning and scheduling of crew operations for the new LGW subsidiary airline of British Airways.
You must have expert knowledge of UK CAA FTL Regulation, OMA Section 7 and Fatigue practices, as well as experience of managing crew scheduling and union agreements.
Being highly data-driven, your analysis and reporting on crew information and roster quality metrics will play a key part in ensuring the new LGW subsidiary airline of British Airways literally takes off.

You will be highly organised, working within strict timescales and deadlines, and be proactive in the planning and implementation of change programmes and risk management. This is a critical role in planning all crew resource for future flying, providing analysis and systems expertise as well as leading the rostering team. In a small and flexible airline productivity of crew is a key metric and this role will be responsible for maximising this.

Role Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of UK CAA FTL Regulation, OMA Section 7 and Fatigue practices
  • Knowledge and experience of managing crew scheduling / union agreements
  • Knowledge and experience of detailed data analysis reporting on crew information and roster quality metrics to senior management
  • Proactive in the planning and implementation of change programmes / proficient at Management of Change (MoC) risk management.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, VM’s, data warehousing, Tableau and other analytical software tools
