Right now, we are seeking a digital marketing manager to become head of our marketing function, taking responsibility for our client-facing marketing channels, as well as all of our candidate marketing activities. Our digital marketing function is well-established, with all the requisite tools and procedures in place. You’d be taking charge of a well-oiled machine, but would still be required to develop this onwards, putting your own stamp on how your department operates.

As the sole marketeer in our business, this is a very hands-on role which would require you to personally deliver the full spectrum of marketing activity, from working with the Directors at a strategic level, to fulfilling all operational tasks (eg content creation and managing our digital channels day-to-day).

Our mission is to increase the number of clients who use our services, as well as to increase our candidate pools in key areas where the demand for skills is greatest. The role demands a highly organised and ambitious person who sets big goals for themselves and takes personal responsibility for the execution of their ideas.

It is likely that you will be degree qualified and will have academic of professional qualifications in a marketing discipline. Furthermore, it is likely you will have at least 5 years’ experience in marketing roles and will (during that time) have repeatedly proven your skills in:

  • designing and implementing creative marketing strategies and campaigns
  • establishing and expanding social media followings
  • using design, automation and analysis tools such as DotMailer, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, AdWords, LeadForensics (or similar), Adobe Photoshop, Lumen5, WordPress, and Buffer (or similar)
  • implementing surveys and analysing feedback to fuel innovation in the business
  • delivering and enhancing brochure websites / landing pages
  • developing and evolving marketing department routines and processes

You will also be a talented wordsmith, able to create vibrant digital content and provide copy for blogs, articles and tactical marketing campaigns, as and when required.

This is a high-profile opportunity, reporting directly to our Board of Directors with full autonomy and accountability for our marketing outputs. We want to hire someone who can grow with the business and be a key part of our management team, going forwards.

Our offices are based at Farnborough Airport (Hampshire) but for the right candidate a high proportion of remote working is possible. Core office hours are 8.30-5.30 Monday to Friday and the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive salary and benefits package, tailored to their skills and level of experience.
