Air Japan Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned company of ANA Holdings Inc., responsible for operating international flights within the ANA Group’s global air transportation network.

Following ANA Group’s decision to unify international services under the globally recognised ANA brand, Air Japan now operates ANA-branded routes while its operational role is unchanged.


Air Japan remains committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality flight operations supported by strong Japanese values and ANA’s world-leading standards.

Air Japan Co., Ltd. operates international flights on behalf of ANA Group, supporting the expansion of ANA’s global network.

While the former “AirJapan” passenger brand is being integrated into the ANA identity, Air Japan continues its core mission: delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality operations under the ANA brand.

The pilot community plays a vital role in connecting Japan with destinations around the world, operating modern Boeing 787 aircraft and upholding the standards of safety, professionalism, and Japanese hospitality that define ANA.

Awarded the Eruboshi Certification for DEI

In February 2024, Air Japan received the highest level of certification from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare known as the "Eruboshi" excellent company certification based on the "Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace."

The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare certifies companies that have formulated and submitted an action plan to the prefectural labor bureau and whose efforts to promote women's participation and advancement meet certain standards.

Air Japan have received the highest rating of 3 stars by meeting all the criteria of (1) recruitment, (2) continued employment, (3) working hours and other work styles, (4) ratio of managers, and (5) diverse career courses.
